It is all on a first come first serve basis, and internals opened a few days ago.

That's quite literally terrifying. I became a nurse unaware of the fact that the market was so incredibly saturated. I'm starting to lose hope on finding a new grad job...

There are so many hospitals, I just got an interview at a small city hospital. Chapman Global, there are a lot of Globals and they don't have a new grad program but you can start getting experience anywhere. It takes persistence and you have to be constantly looking up hospitals around you to find which take new grads but you can do it, it just takes some time. I've applied to about 60 jobs this past month.

Man it's not looking so good. I applied to mission and orange a few hours ago and I did not receive an interview request, but I applied maybe half an hour ago to a further distant hospital and got one within half an hour RN

the programs are highly sought after, not necessarily the hospitals.

They can still send invites out tomorrow and I havent heard anyone get an invite from Mission yet, so I am holding some hope.

You're right, I've been applying to some smaller community hospitals and no luck yet so hope to hear some good news soon. I am willing to work anywhere that will make me a good nurse. PLEASE.

I have the same thought process LOL . So is this means we didn't have a chance ? Or just the first wave of interview ? Unless they ain't looking since internal basically gor it

I have also been applying to KPC health and have heard nothing. A friend of mine was hired as a new grad since she knew someone there.

oh noo I bet orange is all filled 😭 I applied to orange, Fullerton, and burbank at about 930 am ish and none have sent me interview invites guys the new grad life is really hard. also someone asked about queen of the valley idt they have a new grad program, u just apply to the RN II, in the description it says smth about new grad. I legit applied to every single RNII opening and didn't get a single one tho LOL

I applied to Tarzana and Mission Hills. Got text questions for both within 15 minutes but only an interview invite for Tarzana about 10 minutes after doing text responses.
