Providence New Grad TIP OC/LA: Sept. 2021

Published

Hi everyone! I just applied to the New Grad TIP Program in OC and LA. It's my second time applying to OC and first time applying to LA. Just making this forum to discuss and share any updates as this application progresses! Good Luck!

I know it might be too early to know, but besided the video/text interview if our interviews (if selected) were to be held online or in person this time.

Did anybody had the interview today?

I had an interview with LCOM today

How was it? What was your top 3 units?

Hi guys! I’m new to this thread and have my interview tomorrow at St Joseph’s OC. Anyone who has interviewed, would you be able to let me know what kind of questions they asked?

I thought it went well! I selected ICU, step down ICU, and their medical telemetry unit. I also interviewed with St Joseph's today as well. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for LCOM to notify regarding selection? St Joseph's said two weeks but hopefully its earlier than that LOL I'm eager.

@cf2021 how did the interview go at St Joseph today?  Did you feel the questions were difficult? Did you get good feedback?

I thought it went well! The staff was super kind and made me feel comfortable. It was basic questions to get to know you better plus a case study which wasn't hard. I was able to ask questions at the end to get a better understanding of the units and hospital, which to me sounds like a great place to work. Hoping for the best!

Hey guys I just interviewed about an hour ago. Id like to think the interview went well ? I agree the interviewers were really friendly! Just be yourselves guys and look into the hospital. We made it this far for a reason. Own that and although we may not know everything as new grads we are capable of being incredible nurses as our resiliency, dedication, and hard work has brought us this far. Best of luck to anyone applying in the near future ?

If anyone who's interviewed gets called back feel free to post updates on any offers/ 2nd interviews. I emailed the recruiter to see what the general timeframe was to hear back from the hiring team, I’ll get back to you guys on what the response is ??

I interviewed today at St.Joseph 3 hours ago. I thought the interview went well. Hoping for the best.
