Providence New Grad TIP OC/LA: Sept. 2021

Hi everyone! I just applied to the New Grad TIP Program in OC and LA. It's my second time applying to OC and first time applying to LA. Just making this forum to discuss and share any updates as this application progresses! Good Luck!

I know it might be too early to know, but besided the video/text interview if our interviews (if selected) were to be held online or in person this time.

I turned in my application on May 25, and when I check the status of my application, it says "we are reviewing your application". I applied to the LA area, but I was wondering if anyone knew the timespan of when we'll get interview requests? 

 

I was also wondering about pay grade, and if our choices (1st,2nd,3rd) are being taken into account? Or do we have to start off on a Med Surg unit?

hi! I think our choices definitely will be taken into account however I know it depends on the hospital u chose. For example not all the hospitals hire float pool new grads if u chose that specialty. Also I know that it also depends on each units needs!

I applied for both OC and LA but still haven't heard anything. Is anyone else still waiting?

hello I applied to both OC and LA I was contacted from St Joseph and my top choices were L&D and NICU I am scheduled for an in person interview at the end of the month

Hello I was actually emailed like at 2 am last night with a link to schedule an in person interview hope that helps!

Did your application status change to anything different by chance other than "we are reviewing your submission"?

Does anyone know if they just contact everyone based on unit or are they just contacting people generally?
