Omg I thought I was the only one who got grossed out by hair!!!! Other things that do me in are earwax and nasty feet.

Love my ortho cases! Eyeballs gross me out but luckily we don't do them often. Can you double up with someone to get experience in those cases? It seems scary to a lot of people but once you are in there you'll be fine!

Dont be discouraged I just took it a few weeks ago and failed the 1st time, the 2nd time I got a 93. About half of the nurses in my group failed and we all passed the 2nd time. Review the questions you got wrong and you will be just fine!

We called ours "Professor"....even now after I've graduated and they tell us to call them by their 1st names it's hard to. Guess I'm just old school and see it as a sign of respect.

The shadowing went great and I think the group interview went really well. I emphasized my leadership and organizational skills. I'm hoping between that and the year in the surgical tech program will put me towards to the tops of their list of choice...
