  1. Is working in the or really that stressful?

    Hi peeps, seriously considering working in the OR, but have heard mixed reviews. The most disturbing being it is extremely stressful and very fast paced. Are OR nurses overreacting when they make these kind of statements? I realise the OR would be busy and I'm used to being busy working as a nurse on a medical ward, however, it sounds as if OR nurses don't have time to scratch their ass...please let me know what you think, much appreciated
