  10. I too have decided to go back to traditional school after 12 1/2 years of being an lpn. I am scared. But my heart is in it and I am determined as well. I too have been going back and forth and was dedicated and just stopped but now after realizing that my only child will be graduating high school in three years that I will need a new challenge in my life. Good luck to all of you and please keep in touch. I am starting next month, I will be registering on Jan 7 2008 for my classes.
  11. I am a LPN, I will start my new job as an office nurse(OB/GYN) on monday. Prior to that I was a nurse working for American Red Cross. Loved it just hated the long hours away from home with the travel. Have a teenager at home.
  12. I am interested in applying to this school as they have a clinical area near my home. but do anyone know how long does the whole program take if you are an LPN?
  13. i am also looking into this program. has anyone actually started with this program and how it is going for you?
  14. Hello this is not an answer to your question sorry. I was wondering where are you taking your a & p class online? Are you taking all of your classes online including clinicals?
  15. I would have to say Danskos for me. I have three pairs. I have no arch in both feet and the Dansko retailer where I bought them from advised me on which style was best suited for my feet and I have worked as long as some 16 hours days and my feet or legs didn't bother me. I have a bad knee as well and Dansko have helped.

  19. Hello to all. I have been a LPN for 12 years and finally decided to go back for my RN. I will start my classes next month. I am looking for a part time job so that I can support myself while in school. I am currently working for Red Cross and they will not work around your schedule to go to school.
  20. I am still waiting to hear from the Chamberlain college. I applied for March and was told that I am required to take some type of pre admissions test in order to determine whether or not I am accepted. I am wondering if anyone else had to go through this red tape as I am a Lpn already.
