VERY DEVASTATED!!
keep your head up and now that you know what is on the test go and study that what you remember what was on the test..i am finished with the pre reqs as i have been a lpn for 16 years and my school requires the ACE test. I have taken it three times. I failed the first two times by 4 pts. now I am waiting to get my results in the mail this week to see if I passed this time. if not i will be attempting to go to another school. i will not give up. God has a purpose for us..do not give up..also i got fired last week. the first time in 16 yrs of nursing. they were nitpicking so i see it as an opportunity to concentrate even harder on school.

Hello, any one else been going back to school for 23 years?
I too have decided to go back to traditional school after 12 1/2 years of being an lpn. I am scared. But my heart is in it and I am determined as well. I too have been going back and forth and was dedicated and just stopped but now after realizing that my only child will be graduating high school in three years that I will need a new challenge in my life. Good luck to all of you and please keep in touch. I am starting next month, I will be registering on Jan 7 2008 for my classes.

Nurses who DON'T work in a hospital, what do you do?
I am a LPN, I will start my new job as an office nurse(OB/GYN) on monday. Prior to that I was a nurse working for American Red Cross. Loved it just hated the long hours away from home with the travel. Have a teenager at home.

Best shoes ever?
I would have to say Danskos for me. I have three pairs. I have no arch in both feet and the Dansko retailer where I bought them from advised me on which style was best suited for my feet and I have worked as long as some 16 hours days and my feet or legs didn't bother me. I have a bad knee as well and Dansko have helped.
