July Visa Bulletin: EB3 processing for Filipinos --CURRENT!!
ooo... yeah i remember when i first apply for a tourist visa in 1999.. there are 5 lines from the luneta grandstand up to the embassy... there was no scheduling yet.. it was still a first come first served basis... wow.. i was in line for 1 week and we would sleep in the line and we would ask somebody to take our place just for us to take a bath in our home.. other who are affluent would tend to rent a room in a hotel nearby.. after a week of falling in line.. i was denied of a visa.. hehehehe it was a memorable experience...

Schedule A For Nurses Is Back!!!

Westways Staffing Services
i would have to agree with the poster above... read and do your homework... but since we are bent on working in the US... we are force to choose an agency that works faster... hehehe... no offense meant... well one consideration would be the years of contract and the amount of salary you are supposed to get...

Important Vermont question. Please help me...
you know what? i did not send the card to BON.. i just emailed them about the information like the date of payment and the transaction number with pearson vue etc... so i saved time and money for mailing after that i was given the ATT after 3 days... try doing the same... but if you dobt, send the card back to Vermont.... hope this helps you

Westways Staffing Services
westways is known i orange county in california... in fact... my brother, who is also a nurse in fountain valley told me that a lot of filipino nurses are arriving here andthey are recruited by west ways..... the hospital is fountain valley regional medical center... my brother is an ER director there.... well i work at a different facility...

Roseville
yeah i am planning to move to roseville also. i am again going there to take a look at a community being buiilt. the first time i was there two weeks ago... i really liked it... i am definitely going there... moving i mean... so what hospital should i apply?
-
after taking nclex for VT license...
i used my brother's credit card when i verified my result... so she might as well do thesame...
-
Why do people apply to Vermont when they have no intention of working there
well the application of all RN wanting to take nclex-rn using vermont as a route in a way also helps vermont raised funds.... that is 150 dollars a person.... that is a huge amount of money...

AOS and EAD

Immigration News and Updates
i am torn between two concepts.. Nurses with skills (experience) and new nurses i was new (inexperience nurse) when i can here.. only a little less than 7 months ago. I was affraid that i don't meet the expectation of my employer... they said, we will train you for 13 weeks and we will refreshed your theories with lectures... now i am practicing without my preceptor... i still feel i am not equipped... PROBABLY, I KNOW THAT still, i am a novice... and will continue to be one... because i believe that learning is a continuous process.... i should never be lax but instead be on guard always... so i don't support skills being tested buy other institution aside from the emloyer.... just my idea and opinion....
-
how many months did you spend for your review for nclex?
because i am mostly a visual person.. it took me 7 months to review... for me to have an effective review, i need to read saunders, kaplan, cliffs over and over again... so it would stick to my mind.. luckily i passed it... thanks GOD...

Why avoid Nursing Homes that are willing to sponsor you for a Green card?
i guess the more important thing to consider is that nursing home has a bad ratio... sometimeyou will get as many as patients........ but i guess you will still be hired by some hospitals if you then decide to quit nursing homes two of my co-wroker worked in nursing homes for 10 years and they are now in the hospitals.... DOU and ER respectively.... if that is the only agency that offers the best deal why not... but i am telling you... the work condition there would not permit you to give quality care
-
Ms. Suzanne4 & everyone, what u think should I do
suzaane is right, i have a part time in a nursing home and i never liked it there... i was handling 30 patients and 3 LVN,s under me.. it was troublesome and i was always anxious because the mistakes of the my LVN's are also my mistakes... if anything happens I ALRADY RESIGNED FORM NURSING HOME AND CONCETRATED IN THE ACUTE SETTING
