  1. People are taught to use PPE properly otherwise. Where is this logic now? If the COVID-19 patient is contagious, therefore, a person who is directly taking care of the patient is mobilizing the virus, right? So, how do the COVID-19 caregivers protecting their community without proper protection? Are they isolated with the COVID-19 patients in order to control the viruses from spreading? I need some help to understand how exactly the hospitals control the transmission of this pandemic? Something is inconsistent. I find something is not right, or it's just me has a wild imagination.
  2. That's a tough situation for the healthcare workers where you literally put your life on the line for the others. I hope that you have a place to rest your head so you won't infect your family and friends.
  3. https://www.healthline.com/health/vaccinations/opposition ?
  4. When they don't read the entire content, I can't control how their mind works. I'm not responsible for what's going in between their ears. That's how they function in other areas of their life. They can read this one https://www.uchicagomedicine.org/forefront/health-and-wellness-articles/why-do-so-many-people-avoid-the-flu-vaccine People, some of them don't learn the easy way.
  5. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/season/faq-flu-season-2019-2020.htm Who is protected more from flu viruses, the person who gets the flu shot or the person who doesn't get it and/or people who are sick? If only the healthcare workers get inoculated with flu vaccines, how are they really protecting patients from people like family and friends? Do nurses make sure that those visitors show proof of current flu shots when they visit their loved ones? That is ridiculous to attack certain group of people like only nurses and other staff circulating the patients. The way I understood it, the flu shot receivers will be protected or lessen problems associated with flu viruses if people catch those flu viruses. The Flu shot is not mandatory for everyone because it's still an option. I'm not anti flu vaccine. I didn't do it for patients in the past. It was for me to cope with a new environment. I took other vaccines for protection from potential threats. I'm just throwing what I have observed how people can have a tunnel vision against people who aren't accepting it, and how hypocritical that is.
  6. A flu shot helps primarily the person who acquires it, not you or me. But, there is this faulty thinking of humanity that if we all get the flu shot; therefore, we don't get flu. I didn't get it before; perhaps, I was asymptomatic. Heck, I didn't miss flu shots for the past 8 years. I was sick from the flu. Those who have a weak or immunocompromised system should or need to get a flu shot. Not all people who have flu shots are absolutely free from being carriers of flu viruses. Again, everyone should take a risk of getting flu shot, but there are many people argue that a flu shot will make them sick. All in all, we're carriers of diseases.
  7. I've been receiving flu shots since I relocated here in the US (14years). Flu was rare where I came from because it was tropics. I had no flu until recently. It wasn't fun being bed bound for a few days and was about two weeks recuperation. Weird though because I had no runny nose or anything... but dry cough, fever, muscle and joint pains. It still made me miserable. Now, I wonder if I want a gallbladder attack again for an hour or two weeks of flu.
  8. I would check the mortality without a flu shot first then compare it to having some.?
  9. That's tough in medical field. Perhaps, you find a place where flu is not a requirement or mandatory. If it's not possible, an MBA is one of the best careers, too, as long as, you stay out of the healthcare industry where flu shot is a must.
  10. Ever heard this quote? "If there is smoke, there is a fire."
  11. Thank you for correcting it. That's just terrible that nurses who are like that you're describing will try to destroy other nurses.
  12. Perhaps, the other medical professionals don't work as nurses and doctors. How about you share with these people which medical professions don't get abuse? Well, I just saw an RT being chewed by a pt. Probably, you should thank your profession for not being threatened each time you make a mistake. Or, are you dealing with patients who need a pat in the back at the back of your facility?
  13. Why is it so many abusive patients and others to American healthcare workers? Wait. For people, you're subjected to abuse. It seems prevalent that many healthcare workers deal with this kind of people. Why are these people are not afraid to express this behavior with nurses? Is this because they're women? How do they behave around male nurses or male caregivers? It's undeniably they are scared or worried, but I wonder if this behavior is consistent in other industrial democracies. Sorry to hear that.
  14. It's dangerous when people engage in sleep deprivation throughout their lifetime. I used to sleep less because I studied or partied after work, but I didn't engage in any illegal activity. So, I was good, babysat some people who were older than me.?. Nowadays, I'm in my 30s, I mind my sleep time. I stay up late if I have to. If it's for partying, I go back home and sleep.
  15. Your 250mg is already mixed in the 100cc or 100mL solvent.
  16. 250mg is the concentration of the drug in 100cc. Do not use the drug concentration because that's not the problem is asking for. It's asking for the solution. 1cc =1mL ----> 100cc=100mL (100mL/60minuted)(20gtt/mL)=33.3333=33 gtt/minute. You wanna do extra work, look at this and please don't freak out. https://chem.libretexts.org/Bookshelves/General_Chemistry/Map%3A_Chemistry_-_The_Central_Science_(Brown_et_al.)/04._Reactions_in_Aqueous_Solution/4.5%3A_Concentration_of_Solutions
  17. I worked in some place in the past. The more I know people, the more I love dogs.
  18. We will see because I am aware that lying in journalism in the US is not illegal. That's why people in media can just say whatever.?
  19. How about an ex-wife suing an ex-husband for applying an antibiotic ointment in the lady parts of their daughter, which was an Rx, accusing him of molestation? I'm not disclosing his name, but he almost lost his license over this. He was treated like a child sex offender. He fought for it for a few years. That exhausted his assets and etc. The child was 6 years old at that time. He didn't sexually assault his daughter. The child had infections. The timeline would track to his ex-wife. She didn't clean her properly. By the time he had her, she was infected already. The doc prescribed the meds, and he had to do it. His coward ex-wife was desperate to take the kid away completely and him losing his job. She should be incarcerated for being that demonic and fraud. I used to have a heart primarily for women. These days, I see people equally. No more male or female thingy.
  20. That is the best bet, especially living in a high litigious society where people are accuse of sexual harassment in HC industry. Where I had my catheter, it was in my mother land. Maybe it's different in the US. If possible, I don't want a Foley whether done by girl or boy. It's unpleasant and embarrassing.
  21. . Make it about a doctor and they're bigger pervs than any guy I've ever talked to. I couldn't void, so someone had to insert a catheter. It was painful as hell. I had a man do it. He had no escort. When women came in, they told me that I didn't look sick. ? One of them asked, "Wow, you have a nice body." I have no history of men and women doing bad things on me in medical field. I did have a male singer came down to my dance floor and hugged me and kissed my cheeks.?. It was fast that I had no time to react. ? Not gonna mention who. Then again, some men really find me irresistible.?. Even females would slap or grab my butt.? . I'm not doing anything or not wearing provocative dresses. Sauna for females? It was where I learned about nice body. Women were telling me about wanting to have a nice body. They boosted my ego.? Then again, I don't want to be that girl cannot be trusted with my male counterparts as I have been working among them. We have a decent number of male nurses and CNAs and other fields in the same umbrella. We have a coworker who lied about someone, so she is definitely needs more than one in her presence. I watched her lied. I knew she lied because her story changed quickly.
  22. Auto mechanic. I learned basic car maintenance. I love it, but I don't want to be greasy. Hahaha. JK. No, I invested so much in my BS already. I'm satisfied to become an RN someday. ? I'm not too far from it. Auto mechanics don't make money out of me. I tell them what I need to replace or repair. So far, I haven't encountered many technical problems. I'm also a Lil savvy in hardware and software. I can repair my own computers, and your computers or devices (at your own risk). I might not be the smartest CNA. Someone told me I wasn't intelligent enough to be a CNA. ? My aptitude is not high enough to be a CNA. That person thought I only obtained a CNA certificate and told me I wouldn't be able to pass college algebra. Eh? The funny part, I took it already.
  23. This data tells us that people really need to learn to control their cravings. It boils down to self-discipline. Drugs are illegals yet there is always that person does everything at all cost to get them. Behavioral issues.
