Professor Input

I am an MSN student in an on-line program. I have two classes this semester. In one of the classes, the teacher checks in all of the time and always has announcements and hints and little extra info mini-lectures, etc. She gives very detailed comments on the assignments. It is great. In my other class, I feel that we are being left to teach ourselves. It is really a self-taught class! I knew when I signed up for on-line classes that there wouldn't be actual lectures, but I was hoping for some guidance! I guess the bright spot is that she is pretty much giving us full points for everything.

How are your on-line instructors?
