Do a literature search on "professional practice model." That should get you started. There are a lot of articles on the subject. Having an identified Professional Practice Model (PPM) is a requirement for hospitals who want to be certified as "Magnet Hospitals."
Then visit the websites of hospitals that are certified by the ANCC's Magnet Recognition Program. Many will have their practice model on their website. You can get a list of the certified hospitals at the ANCC website. (American Nurses Certification Corporation)
