processing time

1-2 months is the norm once NY BON receives everything from CGFNS. I believe they only meet once a month to review international applications

Hi everyone!!!!!

I did my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Philippines Manila. Actually I have recently filed an application for a credential verification service for New York State. I am just wondering how long will the New York Education Department take to complete the verification process after receiving the report from the CGFNS? Similarly how long the process might take after the verification up to taking up the NCLEX Exam? CGFNS has told me that they will take around 4 to 6 weeks after they receive all the required documents from college to finally generate a report. Is that true?

hello there..im also waiting for my cvs ny application to be submitted by cgfns to NY state educ dept.. actually, been waiting for it for 7 mos now..really takes time for my application.. recently, i've been calling cgfns and asking for any updates..hopefully next week they'll get it done.. i hope yours too will run smoothly not the same as mine.. so sad for me though..well just be patient and that's all we need now.. are you taking NCLEX exam too? well.. goodluck sis.. please update us too with your application..goodluck!

sure i will update my application status. yea..i will be taking Nclex exam too after i met all the requirements. yeap..you are right ..need to have patience..
