Processing time for Canadian Immigrant visa for occupations on the shortage list

Hey guys! anyone here who's processing their immigrant visa for canada? I was told that the CIC would expedite the processing for occupations on the shortage list, they would give visas as early as 9 months. Anyone on this track? Can you share you experience and time-frame?
