Hey! Just curious for any Cleveland area nurses: what are the PRN hourly requirements where you work? I've heard some places have been increasing their time committments, so many are now requiring about 12 hours per week for their PRN employees.

Metrohealth? Cleveland Clinic and/or Cleveland Clinic CCSR? UH?

Thank you in advance! And if you only know for your specific unit, that would be helpful too!

most PRN/per diem positions carry requirements. It would be best to call the facilities. The requirements are also sometimes located on the job description.

I don't work for Metro but I know they just increased their requirements and caused many nurses to leave. I want to say it's 32 hours a month but don't quote me. Where I work (not saying where), it's 2 shifts per 6 week schedule for regular PRN. Not sure about people are are hired into a staffing resource pool. Also, a friend of mine recommended Anchor Staffing, which is a staffing agency she used when she was between jobs. Google them. Honestly though, just apply to any of them and see who calls. The recruiter will be able to tell you.
