i attend a private university, asn program, they had us take 2 tests for entrance. one was just a general knowledge test with basic things like very basic algebra and simple decimal calculations, basic english sentence structure (nouns, verbs), etc... there were 45 questions and we had 25 minutes to complete. we only got credit for the ones we got right and had to get at least 21 right, 24 got you advances placement.

second test was the net test. this was a more in depth version of the above. it continued a lot of algebraic math, percent conversions, reading comprehension, test-taking skills level, critical thinking, etc... we had to score an 80% to get an interview.

there is a book for the latter test i posted.

good luck

I would call the school and find out which entrance exam it is because there are a couple I think.

The one I took is the NLN Pre-Entrance exam. I have a study guide that I used to study for that. It basically covers vocabulary, reading comprehension, math and science. The Study Guide for the NLN pre-entrance esam is great! Closest you will find to that particular test.

But before you purchase any study guides, I would definitely check with the school to make sure you know what test you are taking.
