Hi,

I began a LPN program in Feb at a private college. I went to a community college for 3 years before being accepted into this LPN program and I was really excited about it at first, but I am wondering if the things that are going at this school are happening at other schools?? I am really upset about it. :banghead: First of all, we have had like 7 different teachers, and that's because the school can't keep any employees. I have been told horror stories from recent graduates that they will kick students out of the program for any little thing, they have had the police called on them numerous times for things like...someone in the admin. changing a couple girl's test answers so that they failed. We had no lab experience at all, we we shown most of the advanced skills by a instructor (not all of them that we took the written test on) and didn't do any hands on. I feel like I am basically paying this school $12,000.00 in tuition and teaching myself everything. The instructor doesn't lecture, only reads from the book in class, and we are supposed to do that at home. If we make lower than 75 on any test, we have 1 time that we can retake a test, then after that you our out of the program , but you owe them 100% of the tuition. I am just really worried because (I know I'm supposed to be positive) but if I do fail a test during Med-Surge, we cannot use our 1 retake then, then I still have to pay this school $12,000.00! Someone please help me with this!!
