Principles of Biology I

Published

Hi, I just wanted to ask anyone who knows what this class is basically about, what kind of topics will the professor address. I got an A in my microbiology so do you think I'll be ok? Are these courses similar or is biology easier and more interesting? Any feedback would be appreciated. :)

principle of biology I? I took it last year, it is very simple, easier than micro, all about the cell, cell function, water, carbon structure, metabolism pathway, membrance structure and function, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, cell communication, cell cycle, meiosis and mendel and gene idea...something like that....so i think you will be ok if you are very interested on biology :chuckle good luck on that

Specializes in PeriOp, ICU, PICU, NICU.

At my school the sciences must be taken in order from easiest to harderst (according to them of course) starting with Biology, Chemistry (organic and inorganic), A&P I and II and then microbiology. If you got an A in micro then you seem to be on a paved path to success.

In our bio we focused on the cell, organisms, dissection of frog and sheep's brain, Mitosis and Meiosis the muscles and bones but mostly hardly any physiology.

best of luck to you :)
