Prime healthcare hospitals

Published

New grad who has submitted over 150 applications all over California. Loan payments start in February 😭😭 and just got offered a mother baby position at a prime health hospital in the LA area. It's been over 8 months since I graduated too,  Does anyone have advice or insight on new grad orientation and experience working here 1st year?

Hi! Would you be able to PM me so I can ask more questions? I am hesitant to work at this hospital owned by prime healthcare in the LA area as well

Hey y'all yes I took it! It's not horrible. so if it's your only option too I say go for it . Starting is 48 with night differential. Def take it if it's a specialty you want that's hard to get into without experience.

hey I'm a new grad interested in mother baby do you mind sharing more about your hiring process

Specializes in New grad.

Hiring process is quick probably a video or in person interview onboarding is about two weeks but on Mother baby you'll have a preceptor , mine was 6 weeks of training for mother baby and honestly it was amazing. Def go for mother baby! Lots of charting but one of the best units .
