I am trying to get into a pre-med post bacc program to get the pre-req science classes needed to apply for an Entry-Level MSN. The GPA requirement for the post-bacc program is 2.5. I have been on academic probation before while getting my undergrad degree in a non-science field (hence why I need to get into a post-bac, to do the classes I need).
I have managed to work hard and raise my previous GPA of a 1.95 to a 3.0. I am wondering, do schools look at academic probation status on my transcripts (since an previous academic probation status shows there) and how will this affect my chances of getting into the post bacc program?
ALso, my cumulative GPA has never been below 2.0, this was only for a few term GPA's.

So you should not do a premed post bac. Premed doesn't do A&P, and most don't do micro (those are both med courses), premed also will have you do two years of Chem, which depending on your program, is likely to be over kill.
Unless you are planning on applying to your post bacs school of nursing, you would be much better off just taking your pre-reqs at a community college. It's cheaper and more convenient, as the classes you are going to need are more than likely offered in abundance. And CC's could care less about your probation, or your 3.0 (but be sure to get a 4.0 in your classes from here on to show the admissions committee that you have what it takes to hack it in NS and to boost your GPA).
