Preventing med errors

How do you give meds to 30 plus patients without error? Strategies, routines, thoughts on ensuring accuracy please!!  Thanks in advance

Follow the 5Rs every time. If you can't get through it all by doing it properly then look for a place where the staffing is such that you have more choices than to hurry w/ mistakes or don't finish.

Others besides youself already made decisions that have bearing on this (namely staffing levels); they out to have some skin in the game as far as solving the problem. If they refuse to step up that doesn't mean it's 100% on you. It only is if you let it be.
