First bit of advice is find out about local initiatives, what are the priorities for your unit and focus your talk around that.
What the presentation is asking is how your goiing to be able to provide quality care, within finaicial constraints and meeting deadlines. As a band 6 you will be responsibile for maintaining standards and driving good practice, as well as identifying poor practice and highighting when incidents occur
Look at the work that has come out of Mid Staffs, that's all around failings in safety, lack of responsibility, demoralised staff and poor service as a result of organsiational failings.
With your slides, don't put too much information on them, just bullet points and talk around the bullet points, if youur talking for 10 minutes no more than 8 slides. Don't forget introduction, content and conclusion when planning your slides
That's a start shout if you need more help
-use bullet points - if u put everything in the slide they will read it instead of listening to you
-practice in front of a mirror before the big day
- dont say "ums" and have unnecessary pauses
-relax and youll be fine
