Prereqs for NCAT ABSN program

Hello Guys and Gals,

Just wanted to start a thread for those interesting in applying to NCAT ABSN program for 2018. I have about 5 prereqs to complete. I'm signed up to take Anatomy and Global Nursing this January. I'm wondering if there are any more out there like me so that we could possible start a support group :) AGGIE PRIDE!

Yayyyy! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you ! I believe my interview went well ! I wonder how long it will be before I receive my decision.. did you get a letter or email ?

Hey everyone, I also applied for the ABSN program. My gpa is a 3.2, I scored in the 70's range on the TEAS and I had all of my pre-requisites completed before applying except my CNA Licensure. When applying I informed them that I was currently enrolled in a program and when I got certified I mailed in a copy of it. I had my interview June 14th and received my acceptance letter this past Friday July 14 via email. I was super excited and cant wait to meet my fellow classmates! This is definitely going to be an intense year!

I wonder how we should be preparing ourselves for the program?

Congratulations! I also received my acceptance letter Friday. Will you be relocating for the program? I wish we could get some information on some of the classes we'll be taking so I could get a jump start on the material.

Congratulations ladies! I pray you much success in the year to come .. it's going to be an intense one lol. But I wonder will it take about a month for me to receive my letter/email as well. The wait is not fun lol. So when are y'all going to move ?

I got an email and it said the letter will be in the mail. I think those who applied to the earliest deadline are getting their letters now. Based on other threads I read it looked like those who applied to the standard and last deadline got theirs later so don't worry lol

Thanks!! I'll probably move in December. I've already started looking lol Email or call and they'll give you a time frame. It shouldn't be longer than a month though.

I was told that I should hear back by the end of July. I say give it until the end of the month and then reach out to them. I know how nerve racking it was, I just had to keep my mind focused on other things lol. And yes I plan to relocate towards the end of the year. I have to take time to make a trip out there to see how the complexes and communities are. Now if you go to the website, they list the classes that we will be taking for the ABSN program under the ABSN section.

I got my decision last month!! I got in ! Praise be to God ! See y'all in a couple of months ! When are you planning on finding an appartment and moving in?

OMG!!!!! CONGRATS!!!! I'm so ready to start. I googled and called a lot of the student living apartments close to where we'll be taking class. I'll be visiting in two weeks to tour and make a decision on where I'll stay. I would like to move in in December but majority of the leases are from Jan-August, august- August. Unfortunately move in dates were in January and we start January 2nd I believe so that might be a issue if they don't allow us to move in December.
