Prepping for GA RN Programs. Anyone else out there?

Published

Hey everyone!

So I left the GTC ADN program. I have to do a few extra pre-reqs to apply to other programs. I want to see if there is anyone else out there gunning for these programs who'd like to form a entrance exam study and support group.

2 brains are better than one, and splitting up the research on different programs, and just having someone to vent to, makes trying to get into programs much less stressful. That helped me immensely to get into GTC's program.

So here are my current schools of interest:

Athens Tech

Clayton State

GPC at Clarkston

Georgia State U.

Kennessaw U.

University of North GA

Georgia Gwinnett College

Chamberlain College of Nursing

I don't have patho, statistics, chem, communications, or public speaking which all seem to be needed for most programs. I'll be registering for 2-3 courses per semester in January so I can finish them, but will still be studying for the TEAS and HESI A2 and trying to get things moving along. Some programs only need some of these, so I'll be applying to schools as I meet requirements. If anyone else out there is in a similar boat and is interested in forming a group of some kind, PM me :)
