Hi, I am also reviewing and using that book. I am trying to do it without the Kaplan....kaplan is good its 100% passing rate but you are paying 500 dollars and you are basically going to do the same thing that we are doing now....But if you are willing to pay 500 dollars then kaplan is good. Goodluck though, If you want to study let me know...I am in San Francisco...were are you from?

I am from Nepal too I passed my nclex at first try with 75 question. Kaplan n Saunders were my main reference. All the best for ur exam!!!

I believe NCLEX requires a two prong attack: Content and Questions. Saunders is good for content, but don't dwell on it for too long because questions are key. Passing level questions on the exam are analysis/application (not comprehension). I think Kaplan is good because they really breakdown the test for you and their questions are similar to the NCLEX in terms of wording and style. As for difficulty, people's opinions vary greatly on that subject. Someone above posted that Kaplan has a "100% passing rate."

Whoa, stop there.

No rewivew program has a 100% passing rate. (Someone laughable told me that ATI has a 99.9% passing rate when followed to the tee - yet they were unable to produce any type of source or documentation about this number.) Most of them have a guarantee that says, "If you don't pass, you get your money back," but no real, "If you do this, you will pass no matter what, without a question, don't even worry, etc."
