??Pregnant???

HI there. I have a dilema.......my period is 6 days late, and my husband and I have not been "so careful" this past month. I took a home pregnancy test (2 of them 2 days apart at different times of the day) and they were both negative. Could I still possibly be pregnant? I have also been sick lately and on antibiotics for an ear infection. Could that make my period late? I plan to call my doctor on Tuesday (when I return from an unexpected trip due to a funeral).

I have an appointment tomorrow at 9 to have some bloodwork done. They told me when I called that him a home test was negative, then their urine test would be the same so they'd do blood work.

I just went to my appointment. The nurses just gave me a urine test, but it too was negative. The doctor told me to come back in 2 weeks if I havent started a period yet and then they would do blood work. You would think they would advise you to be careful about taking any medicine or something if it is possible to be pregnant. But they didnt, so I just wont take anything for 2 weeks just in case.
