Is it possible to take a human anatomy class with a Pass/No Pass grade, instead of a normal letter grade? I know a lot of community colleges offer this... A Pass grade is basically a grade C or better and it shows as P on your transcript.
Im inquiring with the nursing school I want to attend if they accept that.
im sure that you can't use that for all the prerequisites but just wondering for human anatomy as I am not sure I will be able to make a B in the class.. a P grade would make it easier and less stressful to think about it. C is more manageable for me at this point.

I've been looking at accelerated nursing programs (what I hope to apply to next fall) and a number of them mention they won't accept a Pass/Fail grade in a prerequisite course. I'm not sure what route you're planning to go, be it traditional BSN, an associates, or an accelerated program, but I think it's similar in most. My undergrad university had Pass/Fail for any course, you just apply for it, but if the course was being taken for your major, you weren't allowed to take it Pass/Fail or it didn't count towards your degree. Not to discourage you, I'm sure there are programs that accept it, that's just my personal experience.
On another note, Anatomy can be a rough class to master. If you're in a regular semester program, you have plenty of time to work on your grade in the class. I recommend talking with your professor about your struggles and see if they have any personal advice. You don't have to go to office hours every day, but show face and just discuss that you have been struggling. I promise you aren't the first or only person struggling in this class. Don't beat yourself down so early in the semester and don't get discouraged. Everyone struggles. Figure out why you're struggling, find what works for you, and work to improve.
Best of luck to you on your endeavors!
