Hello,
I am in the process of applying for WGU pre-licensure BSN and completed all pre-requisites except biochemistry, pharmacology and statistics.
I have an option of taking all 3 classes at WGU during the first semester if accepted or prior to beginning WGU.
Has anyone taken any of these classes at WGU or through any other online educational sites (Straigherline, Study.com, etc. ) and which route you'd recommend based on your experience?
Thanks.

The pre-clinical term (in which you would take all three of those courses) is the term which is make-or-break as far as getting admitted to the clinical part of the program. If you take them prior to enrollment- you have that much less to do in that first term, thus bettering your chances of success.
HOWEVER- you need to make sure that the versions you take will transfer to WGU. An enrollment counselor can help you with that piece.
Thanks for the comment. That makes sense. I was wondering how a lot of students take 3 of those classes on top of 5 classes in pre-nursing curriculum.
I just haven't seen a lot of positive comments regarding the Biochemistry through Straitherline, and that's what made me consider taking it through WGU.

Hi Aniiigh, where did you see biochemistry on straighterline? I was checking and didn't see that offered through straighterline.
Straighterline does not offer Biochem..
