I just got accepted for the spring semester if you have any other questions.
You need intro to biology, organic chem, general chem, micro, and both anatomy I and II.
I recommened taking into to bio before micro...it really helps. It made micro so much easier.
I would do the pre reqs at CCBC...nothing wrong with that.
My GPA was like a 3.1 or 3.2...I was on the waiting list and just got pulled off a few days ago.
Thanks so much! This makes so much sense. Do you think I will need to take a math class before I take chemistry? I haven't had chem. since H.S. but it requires a lot of math right? Do you think I can skip Nutrition? It looks like some programs require you to take Nutrition. Also, did Towson require an entrance exam?
Cheers.

Thanks everyone. Very helpful! One LAST question. Does anyone know what math class I can take at CCBC to satisfy the math pre-req? The math 115 basic math for the sciences? I was looking at the course descriptions at CCBC and it doesn't look like that offer an equivalent. I took 101 at Towson but I'm sure that won't fly. Thanks!
For Towson's math you have to take either pre-calc or algebra with trig. At aacc the algebra w/trig class is MAT 121. I dont know if I missed something or if it changed, but I applied for fall 2010 and I didn't have to take the NET. I did take it though, I needed it for UMSON where I also applied. When you look on Towson's webpage there is a link you click on that will show you the specific pre reqs. Also Brook Necker who runs admissions for SON is really helpful! Her email is right there on the college page, and she will answer any questions you have!
Hoping I get accepted for this fall!

Anyone know the exact pre-reqs for Towson for those with a B.S. already? I found the website to be quite vague. It mentions 4 science lab classes but does not specify classes. I figure AP I and II are a given but does it matter whether the other two are Chem. or Bio.? Also, I'm a graduate from TU with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in Philosophy. Is it possible to take MicroBio without Intro to Bio and not be totally lost? Way back when, I just took the easy way out with Science and Math at TU, so my background in these areas are limited. Would I have a better chance of getting to TU since my undergrad is from here? Or should I press more for Univ. of MD? They seem to have more pre-reqs though. BTW my overall GPA was 3.057. Is that horrid?
No harm in doing the pre-reqs at CCBC right?
Thanks.
