Pre-Req's...Need Advice

Published

ok, this is my dilemma. i live almost exactly in between two community colleges that offer nursing programs. they both have the same pre-reqs except one wants two more classes than the other. i have figured out that if i complete all the of the pre-reqs so that i can apply to both schools, i will need three semesters including the summer. if i only complete the pre-reqs required to get into my first choice school, then i can be done in two semesters including a summer, and i can apply for fall admission. if i take the 3rd semester, then i have to wait a semester to apply and see if i get into both schools. i can't start until summer 09. sorry so long, i'm just looking for someone else's opinion. should i take the 3rd semester and sit out one while waiting to apply? or should i just go with the two semesters and see what happens?

thanks to all who respond! :D

Yes!!! Wow what a small world. I go to Grayson now. I couldn't believe it when they started a spring class. So, are you taking anything this semester?

No, not this semester. I was doing some online classes for another college that started before Grayson, and so it was too late for me to register there. Now I can't start til Summer 09 because I'm pregnant and the baby isn't due until the 29th of January. Besides, I am probably going to have to work through most of my pre-reqs to help my hubby with finances as long as possible. So I figure with a brand new baby and a full time job, spring wouldn't be the best time for me start my classes!! But I am definitely starting the first summer class available to take one or two classes and get them out of the way. Probably the math and english stuff.
