Hello callieA,
It's great that you are being proactive in trying to come up with ideas on how to be a competitive applicant for nursing school.
AllNurses happens to have a good article on How to Get Into Nursing School! Best of luck!
Hi there,
I recommend aiming for A's in all your classes, especially science courses like anatomy, physiology, and Microbiology. It is very competitive, if you want to strengthen your application, and if you have time, I would also try to get an MA or CNA certification and/or some healthcare work experience. If you have some leadership experience in your community, it can help more. I wouldn't worry much and just focus on your essays if some require it for their application, and make sure you have all the prerequisites. If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to help. I have also been mentoring pre-nursing students. If you prefer a Zoom call, you can connect with me through this Google form: https://tinyurl.com/4xfyjsvn
Good luck:)
