What's the advantage of being enrolled as Pre-Nursing, paying the extra $2500 in tuition & fees?

I've never heard of that. Is this at a University? Do they use that tuition later, after you've been accepted into the program?

Yes, it's at WVU Tech. It's listed in course catalog but I just assumed it would apply when taking actual nursing courses instead of completing pre-requisites. It doesn't guarantee acceptance, even if you meet all requirements.

A quick look online doesn't really explain why. Have you called?

Could it be fees typically associated with certain majors like lab materials, use of technology, etc.? That would be my best guess. You may need to contact the schooo directly to get the best answer.
