Pre-nursing

I am doing a few more pre-reqs before applying to a nursing program. I am struggling in A&P2 going to Utica it's an accelerated class I'm doing good in it but feeling like I'm not actually learning much just repeating going over slide. Any advice? I don't have much time to make like practice questions my self and the teacher has none.

When I was in nursing school, I used Quizlet off of my slides. So, it helped with creating Flashcards for my studies, and also quizzes from the slides. This may be a bit more useful compared to just reading off slides, as I feel like reading off slides is only good for passive learning. If you need good resources for understanding Anatomy and Physiology, you can also watch YouTube videos, from people like Registered Nurse RN Sarah, or Osmosis to reinforce your learning. Best of luck in your studies!

I second the quizlet approach. By making the flashcards alone you are getting stuff into your brain. I also write things out simply, For instance, I would write the flow of blood through the heart, vena cava ➡️right atrium➡️tricuspid valve➡️right ventricle ... etc. I would do it with help and then keeping doing it until I didn't have to look at anything to help me.

Making flashcards and using a white board! I would first begin writing everything by looking directly at the paper then I would not look at my paper anymore and try to write on the white board as much things as I would remember.
