Will My PCA count as Healthcare experience

Hello everyone!

I recently got offered a job as a Personal Care Assistant with a behavioral health group. I was wondering if I decided to work with them, would it count as healthcare experience? I also have an option of waiting for a few months and getting my CNA license but the Personal Care assistant offer pays more than what I see the avg CNA salary is in the area. At the end of the day I mostly care about getting the experience to strengthen my skills but I just wanted to get opinions on the best course of action

It absolutely will count..

It should count but it is better to message each program you are applying to, to see if they will count personal care assistant as healthcare experience. It's better to know before you apply than applying after and realizing they won't count it as healthcare experience.
