I start my prereqs today...

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

It's 6:01 am, and I am going to start my prerequisites for various Master's Entry Programs today. In two hours, in fact. I just felt the need to voice my nervousness into the void, and wonder if anyone else is in the same situation as me. If there's anyone else out there who's feeling like this today, know I empathize, and here's to making it out intact and mentally and financially stable!

I start in the fall too!!!

Okay, so I like the science, but I LOVE the math. I mean, to the point where I'm sad when I have no more homework. I think I'm creeping my brothers out.

Has anyone else discovered an extreme love for statistics?

It sounds like you'll be taking mostly basic 1st and 2nd year college classes that you didn't do for your BA because you majored in something else. This is not hard course work, it just takes time so you need good time management skills.

And for the record there are no useless BA's. Without your BA you wouldn't be eligible to "cut in line" so to speak and go straight to the master's level. Some people have no college and it is common for community colleges to make them start with pre-college level math and english. This makes their path much longer. With a Bachelor's you get to waive out of a lot of preliminary level prereqs. My point - that BA is good for plenty. :)

I do know that, actually, but sometimes it doesn't feel like that when I'm looking for a job in my community's depressed economy and can't find anything.

I just feel like I kind of wasted my time in college the first time around. I'll feel a lot better once I'm in grad school.
