Pre-nursing student with spinal fusion

Hi everyone!

I'm so determined to be a NICU nurse and eventually a PNP. However, two years ago I had a spinal fusion, which allows me to only lift up to maybe 30-45 lbs. Being an RN is my goal and I can't imagine myself doing anything else but that! I was wondering would I even be able to apply to nursing school, since they require a physical examination or even be a nurse?
