Pre-Nursing student...looking to relocate FROM GA.

Published

Hi, I'm writing to try and find some ideas and suggestions. I live in Georgia and have been here all my life, but absolutely hate it and have been trying to move but relocation has been hard. I was laid off a few times and decided to try my hand in the healthcare field. I am a CNA and recently found a job as a clinical care partner (same as CNA) at a nice hospital, however, this will be my first time utlizing my CNA certification. I have been accepted to a school as a pre-nursing student that will start in January. But the more I stay here in Georgia, the more I hate it. My grades aren't the best, but I wanted to find out if there were other options for travel or for earn as you go type school or for positions that out there that offered some type of relocation assistance to nursing students or anything that could help me to move away and start a new life. I feel stuck. Any advice?

I live in GA too and hate it as well!!I am from Cali :). Once I finish at my nursing school I am going to work in Cali. I was reading somewhere on this website where it says you can submit your NCLEX Exam test scores to the board in which you plan to get your licenses. Then you will be licensed in that state and MOVE!!!lol. Your other option if you have your license you can get it transferred however to me is way too expensive but everybody is different. Hope this helps. If anyone can respond to my post about the NCLEX Exam texbook please advice me on both of my posts. Thank you
