I am considering nursing school, though I stumbled onto a Pre-nursing degree at another college I had been considering. These courses seem like they are very relevant to the courses needed to complete a Asso. Degree in Science/Nursing, which I had been planning to complete in order to sit for the RN certification. Now I am confused, and not sure what to do. It is not required to complete this degree in order to be accepted into the nursing program, but if I did go with Pre-nursing first, would any credits/courses count towards the Assoc. Sci/Nursing Degree in the future? Help!!

If you have a school in mind already that you want to apply to for nursing, you should ask a counselor there. It's all about what transfers. I honestly have never heard of a Pre-Nursing degree...but that's just me.
If I were you I'd make sure where exactly this degree can transfer to and how much of it will. It could just be something specific to that college...maybe they call their nursing pre-reqs a "Pre-Nursing Degree". But in many people's cases they have to apply to several different college's nursing programs, so you want to make sure that your credits will transfer.
I had to re-take several college courses that simply did not transfer over when I relocated...even though they were all classes that applied to my pre-nursing requirements. Every college is different.

The best thing you can do is talk to a nursing adviser at your school because all schools vary on their requirements and pre reqs and what transfers in and so on.
