Hi everyone!
I'm from Ohio and new to this forum, I'm just needing some advice. I'm currently on the waiting list at a local college for their LPN Program starting Jan 2018. I have every possible prereq completed.
I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on things I could start doing to prepare for the actual nursing classes?
My sister is an RN and suggested constant A&P and Pharmacology review. Is there a certain method or study guide you may have used?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
TIA.

In addition to A and P and pharm a few other things you can do are learn nursing foundations, learning the nursing process. Watch basic skills videos on YouTube. Study all the most common drug classes in pharm. But, don't over do it though-you may get burned out quick before the program even starts. Take plenty of time for yourself too though, because you won't have much of it once the program starts!
Congrats and enjoy the journey!
Ella26,
Thank you for your reply.
I've spent several hours online finding study guides and cheat sheets to assist me in reviewing.
I appreciate your advice. I know it's not going to be an easy road, but worth it in the end.
