I guess I'm getting nervous, I have the NLN Pre-Entrance test for the LPN program next week. Just wondering what everyone else did to prepare if anything and what do you think helped the most? Also did your school tell you how many students where accepted and applied? Can they tell you that? Thanks for your help and Goodluck to anyone else taking this test soon :)

I took the NET (nurse entrance test) last year for the RN program that I just started. I didn't study for it since it only covered reading comprehension, writing, and basic math. I scored in the 99th percentile, so I think the test is pretty straightforward. I'm not familiar with the NLN test, but if it's anything like the NET, make sure you're comfortable with 100-level reading and writing, algebra, and elementary math (fractions, decimals, etc.) and you'll do just fine.

Several hundred people applied to my RN program and 40 of us were accepted. The numbers weren't "officially" given, but the staff at least gave us a ballpark figure.

Good luck!

I take my pre-nln exam next wek also! You need toget the pre-nln exam studyguide, that would be a good place to start. They have sample tests to take so you can see where your week spots are and what you need to study.

Good luck!
