I’m about to start my MSN AGACNP degree and am hoping to set myself up to be a competitive job candidate when I graduate (hopefully within 2 years). I have experience in almost every department including ED and critical care, but most recently and abundantly in surgical services (PreOP, PACU, OR, Anesthesia/regional). My ideal situation would be in surgical critical care. I’m torn between remaining in surgical services through school vs moving to the ICU and/or the ED again to bolster my resume. What are your thoughts?
