Practical Nursing Algonquin College Winter 2016

Anybody who's starting this winter?:)

I am not starting next month but, hopefully September 2016. I am wondering what was your overall average? I am a little worried that it's very competitive. Thanks :)

Good luck on that! I was educated outside Canada, got my transcripts assessed and passed it to OCAS. I took the HOAE and then I got my acceptance some time in September. I don't know how they calculated my grades. Are you from Ottawa?

I live in Ottawa and I am starting at Algonquin in September of 2016 in the Practical Nursing program :)

I am VERY VERY excited. I have an overall %89 average so far I'm hoping to graduate with a 90%. That way I know I can keep my head above water in the program haha.

That's a nice goal. I'm trying to maintain an A grade just to make my transcripts pretty lol. The first term is about to end. My advice, be prepared for tons of paper works. If you are patient and determined, you will get through this program. Good luck!
