I just want to know: I have read on here that some people are concerned about the pay scale going down for nurses with the country bringing in nurses from abroad. Couldnt current nurses strike to keep the pay scale at what is deserved if hospitals try to lower wages?
What do you all think???

Nurses in many parts of the country DO strike for various reasons (patient ratios, better managment relationships, pay, etc)
Your best course of action is to get invloved in nursing organizations in your local community. Join your local nursing union or if unions don't appeal to you, join a nursing group that does.
