Potential Travel Nurse

Hello, I have multiple questions about travel nursing. I've been a nurse for 2.5 years now, and I am ready for change. I LOVE to travel and I LOVE nursing so I decided I might as well try travel nursing to possibly have the best of both worlds. My background has been in Med/Surg.

Does anybody have any helpful advise about their past or current experience as a travel nurse? What are some good agencies to work for? How long did it take you to get your first assignment?

Yeah we're not impressed with the recruiter so we may be either getting a new one with CC, or signing with a different company all together. It's not been a bad experience, but our recruiter can't even keep our information straight, simple stuff too. Well, at least I know now that others have gotten more and I'll hopefully be able to bargain for some more travel stipend, or just walk away. Thanks!
