I don't know all the ins and outs of it. My hubby is using it for his 2nd masters. He used up all his regular GI Bill, and they switched him to that. We did pay his one class that was due, and are still waiting for them to pay us back. They owe him $3100! That is for 2 classes and whatever was left over. So yeah, if you do pay your class they should pay you back, just keep on them.
Don't pay up front, too many headaches. The school is set up to accept third party payments from reputable organizations (Pell grants, student loans, and other fin-aid is often delivered to the school late, but A's long A's they know it's coming they'll let you take classes). A's long A's you have your certificate of eligibility from the VA you will be ok.
I used the GI Bill for my pre-reqs with zero issues.

Not exactly sure if I should ask this in the Pre-Nursing Students or General Nursing Students forum but I was curious as for anyone paying for their education through the Post 9/11 GI Bill. I found out that I was eligible for 100% of it this past week and I was curious to how exactly the process would work. I spoke with the veteran affairs representative of my nursing school and she told me that they would change the process up. She did say to speak to her after I register but not to pay for the tuition and fees immediately after registration. Reading up on others that have used the Post 9/11 GI Bill, I'm kind of scared as to whether to pay up front immediately or not. I can afford paying for the first semester's tuition but if I do go ahead and pay up front, will I receive it all back in backpay? Can anyone else help shed some light for me on this subject?
