Post-baccalaureate Accelerated BSN Help

I have a bachelor's in biochemistry and biomedical sciences, but want to get in to an accelerated BSN program now. I've been doing research on different programs and their requirements and I think I have a pretty good idea of what the application process will be like. How difficult is it to get in to one of these programs? Do any of them have wait lists? What is the program itself like? I imagine it is very fast paced and crazy. I appreciate any and all help and advice you can provide!!! Thank you!!

They can be very competitive depending on where you are applying. The individual schools should be able to direct you to their admission stats. You should also ask about attrition rate as this does provide insight on the difficulty of keeping up with the pace of the program. I am familiar with an accelerated BSN program that runs for 18 months with a very competitive admission stat and moderate attrition rate. What I found is that many of those who leave the accelerated program opt out and enter into the traditional BSN program instead for a slower more manageable pace.
