I am an LPN who is enrolled and attending a local bridge program in MO. Family circumstances have come up that it would be more beneficial to move this summer to CT rather than waiting until Dec for graduation. I don't want to lose the semester I have put in and delay my RN any longer if possible. Is it even possible to transfer bridge programs between semesters? I realize I would have to get a CT LPN license to be eligible. Also are there even any bridge programs near the Middeltown, CT area?

Apr 12, 2009 Hi,I can't speak for specific schools but I have never heard of either a LPN or RN program taking transfers other than things like your pre-reqs. How long is this bridge program that you are in now? Mine was only 2 sememsters plus a mini-mester bridge class.

You might be just as well off to start all over again because I don't think most bridge programs are that long. If not can you work as a LPN while you finish up where you are?
