Possible career? Seeking insight

I’m extremely burnt out from bedside nursing. I have PCU/tele nursing for about 3 years with 1 of that being travel nursing. I’m looking into which direction to go next and I’m very interested in research nursing but am hoping to get some insight. To those research nurses out there are you happy with your career? Is it fulfilling? Keeping you interested? Do you have to write up research or is it mostly physically doing things? Pros? Cons? I’d love to hear anything and everything. I just need a change and am very lost. Thank you

If you have any Phase I Research facilities near you, if can be an easy way to get your foot in the door. The pay will be less, but the stress is considerably better!
