Possible alternative to Information Literacy!

hey everyone! on this other board i have been stalking, someone posted a cheaper alternative to information literacy that is excelsior approved. it's at an institution called penn foster. i just called excelsior and had it approved for myself.

the only problem i hear is that it can be kind of difficult to enroll into with penn foster. i have yet to speak with them, but the phone number is 1-800-233-0259 and the course number is eng 103. the cost is $75 and that includes all books and materials. you do have to find a proctor for your final exam and it has to be a non-relative with at least an associates degree.

it took some people about two days to a week to complete. i understand that may be a little bit more time than excelsior's, but a huge save on money! i'm real tight on money right now (school fund is completely depleted!), so won't be able to sign up for this until the fall. i wanted to share this with people who may be interested. hope this helps!
