I took A&P I and II, microbiology and developmental psychology through Portage. The tests are at the end of each module and are timed (1 hour). You then get a final exam timed 3 hours. Unless you are really studying the material and carefully reading the information the tests would be very difficult. I found I learned the information and retained it with good study practices. For the lab portion you watch a video and I literally copied the material word for word in a notebook to study and review. Don't try to speed through these courses as you will need this information throughout your nursing journey! I thought it was a great alternative to the classroom, especially if you have kids such as myself! Good Luck!!!
Hi I got an A and I did it in 6-7 weeks. I didn't find it to be difficult but you need to take notes on the lectures and labs. I 100% encourage you to take it. The professor responded right away whenever I had a question and I actually found the labs to be quite interesting. I love that you can go at your own pace, too. I truly don't think you'll regret it. I hope all goes well!

Hi, I'm going to be taking my pre-reqs with portage online. Wanted to know if anyone has ever, and your experience with them? Also with testing would you need to find a proctor or how do they administer test? Thank you, any help is welcome :-)
