Ethics thru Portage Learning
Honestly I cannot remember it was a long time. I personally did not take ethics thru Portage. I only took Stats and Chemistry which the Chemistry teacher was a very tough grader.

Oh yes I did procrastinate a bit. The exams are hard, they are not easy.

Passed and ran out of time
I want to tell you about my NCLEX expierence. I went to the Worcester, Ma location which is very nice. Its easy and not intimidating. I was very calm and ready to take test. I had 40 Select All That Apply questions, 10 Pharmacology questions, 10 math questions, and the rest priority. I was freaking out because it wouldn't shut off. I ended up running out of time and finished at 245 questions. I thought I failed because I ran out of time, but I tried the PVT trick after I receive the email of you took your test blah blah. Got the good pop up. Then again at 24 and then before 48 hours and still got good pop up. I then paid the $7.95 for quick results and I PASSED! This was my first attempt and I was thrilled because that was THE HARDEST test I have ever taken in my life! Now every test is different becuase a friend who took same time as me only had 4 SATA questions and 2 math and 2 med questions and her computer shut off at 99. She passed. What I am try to tell you is, keep your cool even if it doesn't shut off near 75 keep going! Finish as much as possible and do your best! Everyone is different and every test is different but I do think its true that if you get a lot of high level questions your on the right road. I didnt think I failed because of the questions I thought because I ran out of time but they score it differently. They take the last 60 questions and if your below the line once, you failed. So try your best! Good luck everyone! **Also, UWORLD is the CLOSEST to the test layout that I have found***

Ethics thru Portage Learning
I ended up taking Ethics through my school online. It was much easier. I took statistics through Portage and found it very tough. Good luck!

Portage Learning STATISTICS
Hello, So I can tell you that this company is very tough. The teachers are great but are strict. I think I can remember about 50. I got an A in the class but I worked very hard for it. If your not a computer savvy learner then I wouldn't take it from them. Good Luck!

Yes it is open book but everything is online so it was hard to go back and forth with looking. The exams differ from course to course. The Chemistry exams were very hard I felt. I think taking it throu a school was easier.

What Helped Me Get Level 3 On Most of ATI Exams...
Thank you for this info! I have taken the med-surg and it is very difficult but like you said if you keep at it and do the work you can achieve a level 3. I have peds, maternity and community left and I want to score a level 3 on those so I am definitely going to do this method like you said. Thanks so much!

Passing NCLEX second time with simplenursing.
I was wondering about Simple Nursing..... I am struggling with med surg really bad and I am a visual aide person. I am wondering if its worth the money to invest in his videos. Its a lot of money for a limited amount of access so I'm wondering how the cancelation process went and which one you signed up for. Thanks and congrats on everything!

Feedback on Regis or Simmons Accelerated Nursing program?
Hi Emily, Sorry for the name mistake. Yes, you do have to find your own preceptorship which is a pain and a lot of people are having trouble because there is a lot of competition out there. I am looking into Simmons for their NP program but also others too. We do, do clinicals in Boston also I am at Tufts currently, but Simmons is a VERY well known colleges and it is in Boston so it will be easier for you. I wish you the best of luck! Who are you taking Chem 105 with? McQuaid?

Feedback on Regis or Simmons Accelerated Nursing program?
Hi Lillian, I just saw this! Honestly, I would pick Simmons! I go to Regis now and I am not very happy with the school itself. I am 30 and I can tell you even the accelerated program I feel like they treat you like a little kid. I am dissapointed with the school and have had my ups and downs with them. I always feel like I have to fight and I pay for my education out of pocket so it upsets me. I honestly would tell anyone to go somewhere else. Besides Simmons is a great school! I had a friend get her NP there and she is a wonderful nurse! Good luck with your decision. If you have anymore questions just reply back I think it should notify me! :)

Portage Learning Classes
I have only taken Stats and Chem with them and I can tell you that the Chemistry teacher is very tough and I dropped it. Stats wasn't bad.
